RISK EVERYTHING FEAR NOTHING

Dear someone watching from the shadows,
The policy is honesty and nothing is censored. The world is not made of atoms. It is made of stories.
These are some of mine.
I was born in China, grew up in a small country town, spent my next decade in the most isolated city in the world. I am now 3000 miles away, embarking on my next chapter. The air smells verdant and pure, I am surrounded by nature in bloom, and beautiful people who hold such exquisite stories.
I want to go everywhere, meet everyone, and do everything. I will.
Love, someone at the other end.

For every experience in life, try to obtain a lesson. It won’t always be easy. Because some of these experiences should never occur in the first place. The plague in this society isn’t famine, war or disease. It’s loneliness. How ironic; we were born to need each other, but we haven’t yet learnt how to live with each other. We all make mistakes, why is that so hard for some to understand? No one should be judged by the mistakes they have made. It’s past news. Most of the problems we face in our lives are self inflicted. Yet they still appear so big to us. Imagine life as a play station screen in a car racing game. There are 4 different views you can look through. The first shows you what you see through the driver’s eyes. The second shows you an image as though there is a camera on the back of the car, allowing you to see more of what is going on around you. The third shows a view from 5 metres behind the car, you can now see what is going on behind you and in front. The final choice shows a bird eye view of all the proceedings occurring around you. More often than not we get caught up in the first choice. Focusing only on what we can see - what is happening to us at a particular time. We need to look through the final view, keeping the past, present and future all in mind.Look at the bigger picture.Life is the same for all of us. Similar in that we all go through good patches, we all go through bad. Life is neither pain nor pleasure. It is both. It can be terrible or wonderful, based on how we interpret it. We differ not in what we are doing, but this interpretation. Anatomically speaking we don’t see the world as it really is. We see with our brain, and our attitude interprets the image. Our understanding, experience, and feelings create a prism in which we see the world through. In this way we rarely see things how they actually are. We begin to see what we look for; we see what we want to see. What we believe becomes reality, and that reality convinces us of what we believe.Everything we discover leads to a question. Does anyone know the question? I doubt it. How can we find the answer if we don’t know the question? Never let go of something you can’t go a day without thinking about. What we think and believe will always have more power than what we speak and do. Because nothing is as perfect as we imagine it.
