As I write this, a guitar strokes and slides beside me;
swimming and dancing through rivers and waterfalls;
oceans linking and lopping into the very depths of my heart.
With a fling and a flicker, I flow into an enchantment
that seduces my mind,
entrances my body,
discovers my soul.
Spellbound, and sparked,
I am soothed yet stimulated
with every cascade and and every hammer.
I shiver, as the magic creeps up my spine,
seeps it’s way through my pores,
into my bloodstream,
and overcomes me.
All the while I’ve forgotten how to breathe,
desperately trying to keep this memory inside me,
I hold my breathe as the second settles into place.
